Then, you should definitely start debating! Kulturutvalget and Norway Debate have planned an evening that will introduce you to competitive debating, in the British Parliamentary style. We have invited Lucinda David, who has an impressive experience in debating - having been the Chief Adjudicator of the World Universities Debate Championships, as well as participated in numerous competitions such as LSE 2013 and Cambridge IV 2013 (Champion in both). Together with another prominent debater from the UK, they will give a basic workshop on the main concepts of competitive debating and most importantly - we will debate!

Do not hesitate to join, even if you have never debated before - we promise, the experience is worth it. If you are not interested in debating but you would like to watch - you are also very welcome as we will be debating on relevant and up-to-date subjects concerning the Norwegian society.
